Description

Hayfever is often defined as an itchy nose, throat, sneezing, red irritated eyes these mimic the symptoms of a common cold.

Sinus is often defined as the sensation of thick mucous in the nasal and sinus passages often giving the feeling of a blocked nose that is difficult to breath through. This can turn to bacterial infection and produce green / yellow mucous and may require medication or supplementation to improve.

Asthma is a condition where the airways beome narrow often to reaction, infections and exercise.

Behind these above symptoms lies a very stressed immune response. This is an immune system that has lost the ability to function and become overactive. When I first heard about OPC#3, I was skeptical. I was familiar with the benefits of grape seed and red wine

Both my wife & 10 year old daughter suffer serious allergy problems, or I should say did suffer from.

Literally every 6 weeks my daughter would get an infection in her throat followed by a serious fever(102-

I just have to say how much OPC#3 and our Isotonics Vitamin C have helped my husband's allergies. He
used to have them year round - but particularly bad in the spring and late summer - to the point of misery.

Hi team,
    I have a niece who is 5 and has severe asthma. We started her on OPC#3 in Dec. and she is doing well. She

I can tell you my own personal story. I have been allergic to "everything" since I was born - certain foods

I am writing to you today to express my thanks for such a wonderful product - OPC#3.

My brother-in-law told me about OPC#3. He said it was grape seed, pine bark, red wine extract & bilberry
and that it was drinkable. It sounded safe enough but how was this going to help me or better yet, my
husband. He said people were feeling better and getting relief of many different symptoms including sinus
problems and painful symptoms of back injuries.

Since my early teens, I suffered with allergy symptoms. It was chronic sinusitis. In between repeated doses
of antibiotics, I just learned to live with the tension headaches, stuffy nose, red and watery eyes and the facial
pressure. By the time I was in my late twenties these symptoms were a part of my every day.

At that time, my husband was suffering from sciatica related to a back injury. He could not bend down, sit in
a car or put on his own socks or shoes. A good night's sleep was a thing of the past. After one back surgery,
and no relief, we consulted with five different Neurosurgeons. They felt the symptoms were related to the
scar tissue. They suggested another surgery but we realized with another surgery would be more scar tissue!

Springtime here in Oregon was really bad because if the pollen didn't get you, the molds would. We started

I started developing a "cold" with itchy eyes every September about 5 years ago (1993). It took me about
two years to figure out that it must be allergies. My sister joined MA in 1997 and because I had hurt a toe,
talked me into trying the OPC#3 for the pain, in case it was arthritis. I was very skeptical about the whole
vitamin/nutrition thing but because it was my sister, tried the OPC#3, beginning in July. It didn't work for
my toe (turns out I had broken a bone!). But in November I realized that I hadn't suffered my usual
"September cold". I'd had no symptoms so I just didn't think about it. At this same time, the doctor
determined that my 7 year old son suffered from winter allergies (kept having to go back for antibiotics
every 3 weeks because of bronchitis as a secondary infection). The doc put him on Flonase, which bothered
me because it is a mild steroid and their own literature said not for kids under 12. But the dr's office
reassured me that it was okay and ! that the company just didn't want to spend the money necessary to do a
study on children. So, I put him on the OPC#3. About the end of the following January, it struck me that if
the OPC#3 helped relieve my allergies in September couldn't it do the same for my son? So I put him on
OPC#3 and off the Flonase. He was fine. No more bronchitis or allergy symptoms. Fast forward to this past
fall (1998) and again no allergy symptoms for me and none for him. Interestingly enough, there was a report
Nov. 1998 that hit the papers that spoke to the effect the inhaled corticosteroids may have on children
("Asthma drugs stunt growth", Lancaster New Era, Nov.10, 1998, front page article). It listed some of the
brands specifically - one of which was Flonase. The FDA ruled that the inhallers must now carry the new

I can give you some information regarding allergies and OPC#3. I have been a distributor for about 17
months now. Prior to taking OPC#3 I would have a terrible problem in the fall with Rag Weed or something
that was in the air at that time of the year. I would have sneezing fits, if that's what you would call them.
Sometimes I would start sneezing and not be able to even catch my breath in between sneezes. Sometimes
these fits would last for several minutes. Sneezing 50 to 100 or more times one right after another. I had to
pull off the road, if I were driving, until I could get it under control. I would have to drink water to washout
my throat, and blow my nose repeatedly. My eyes would be watering so bad that I couldn't see and I would
get a severe headache from the violent sneezing fits. Once I almost broke a rib from this. IT WAS NOT

sure that I don't take very kindly to dust, mold or mildew, and whatever common pollens or organic matter
that are flying around. I used to take Claritin every day of the year. I've been on OPC#3 for over 6 months,
and it has been just wonderful! I can tell when I wake up in the morning whether it'll be a good or bad day

Allergy symptoms

I have had severe allergy problems with symptoms including burning eyes and stingy throat, headache and
upset stomach from cigarette smoke, stingy, scratchy eyes, unstoppable sneezing from cats and indoor pets,
pollen, and mowed grass, and even itchy hands from mowing the lawn. I have had continuous sinus
problems for the last four years.
In October I was put on antibiotics for strep throat. A few days after finishing a ten-day supply, I was back
for more antibiotics for strep again. This chain of events went on until July. By that time, I had a rhinoscope
done, a CAT scan of my sinuses, a blood test for thyroid and no sure cure or cause for my symptoms. I was
days away from setting a date For a tonsillectomy when my first order of OPC#3 came in on July 3rd. I
double-dosed for three weeks. Most of my symptoms disappeared within the first five days. I have not had
One strep throat and neither has the rest of my family since I started on OPC#3. After six months of OPC#3, I
quit taking my three allergy shots a week. Whenever I feel congested, I double-dose and my sinus problems
subside. I now take one shot of Isotonics Antioxidant and one shot of OPC#3 every morning and have very
little allergic reactions, even in the peak allergy season. I can now visit my brother's home, which has two
dogs and two cats indoors. Before OPC#3, I could not spend five minutes there without sneezing and

Yes. The only change for me is that I take two (2) Select three times a day for the purpose of the ma huang
acting as an anti-inflammatory for my back injuries. Ma huang (ephedra) also works on my allergies, too.
(Ma huang=ephedra which is the natural version of the man-made pseudoedphedrine found in allergy
medications.)
    TC Select works! The OPC#3, of course, helps there, too.

Hi Mark,

My nephew (with severe Heart problems) started OPC#3 when he was 13 months old (13 lbs.) We started
him on 1/2 adult dose, which was still a little better than 5 times (per his weight). He is doing great! He
wasn't really expected to see his first birthday, but he will see his third in just a few weeks. To look at him,
one would never know he has any medical problems at all.

Another nephew, who suffers both from allergies and asthma was started on OPC#3 at 18 months old, (15
lbs) -- also half a dose. His older brother (9), with the same problems, takes a whole dose. Both are also
doing great and have had no more attacks.

For them, the OPC#3 alone was too sour. They weren't really thrilled, made ugly faces and threw their
bottles/cups back at us. So . . . we added some Vit C and gave it to them as the first bottle/cup in the
morning. Evidently the Vit C added enough sweetness to make it palatable for them.

A customer of mine has an eight-year-old son who also has asthma. They live in a basement apartment, and

My son was 9 yrs old when I started him on OPC#3. He was also on two prescription med's, one was to
clear him so he can breath, the other was to keep him awake - since the 1st would put him down for at least
two-three hrs. The sixteenth day on OPC#3, the med's went in the garbage!!! Two yrs now, and only an
occasional over-the-counter nasal decongestant - during these last couple weeks mostly. I may have to
double-dose him during these bad days - he has grown a lot in these two years. Anyway, tell her about my
son and how much better he has done these last two years. And, how much better I feel that I don't have to
feed him the prescription drugs for the rest of his childhood and maybe beyond. Also, the added benefit that

Hello. My daughter is 14 and has been taking OPC#3 and Vit C for the last 2 1/2 months. She has been
asthmatic for about 8 years and has been taking a medley of inhalers. This is normally a very bad time of
year for her. She hasn't taken her inhalers since starting the Isonotix. She takes 3 caps OPC#3 and one Vit C
every morning. A lady I work with gives OPC#3 to her son who is in 6 grade. He hasn't taken any
antihistamines since starting the OPC#3. If she is hesitant to try a young child I can understand but we cannot
guarantee her anything. We can only tell the effects we've witnessed for others. She can talk to her doctor if
that makes her more comfortable. Every person is different and will respond a little differently to the
products. Results will not be known until they give it a try. Hope this helps. I know that everyone I have

     I am a Family Practice doctor in Indiana. We have quite a bit of asthma around here and of course
children are affected as much as adults. I have used the OPC#3 in children as well as adults. Basically you
would give her the same per pound dose as you would the adults. This would be 1 mg per pound of body
weight. For example if she weighed about 30 pounds I would give her about 1/4 to 1/3 tsp. daily. In
addition I would give her about 2-3 tsp. of aloe per day and 1/4 to 1/3 tsp. of B-12. The magnesium and B
vitamins really help to relax the bronchial tubes and the OPC#3 will reduce the inflammation and allergic
reactions. The Aloe will be of help to boost the immune system to decrease the reactivity as well.

Our son's family has a history of asthma, and many ensuing medical problems and expense. His wife, 9 yr
old son & 7 yr old daughter have been on inhalers, breathing machine, steroids, etc., etc., for several years.
Since starting OPC#3 about 2 years ago, their use of all of the above has been drastically reduced and quality

In regards to B-12, that is true. However where I find the best use of doubling up on the B-12 is in my
asthma patients. The increased magnesium absorption really is a great bronchodilator and they can breath
much easier. Usually within about 10-15 minutes. There actually is an IV protocol for asthma. It involves
calcium chloride, B-complex vitamins and magnesium.
In my patients who have utilized the IV approach, the Isotonics is very equivalent.

I have had allergies all of my life, and being a commercial pilot, I was grounded at least 4 times per year. I
had been on medicine, and in April I was taking on average 10 allergy pills per day, sometimes more on bad
days. Incidentally, I'm retired, so am not flying with allergy medicine in me! Within one month of taking
the basic three, OPC#3, Isotonics Multi-tec, and Isochrome, my allergies have mostly gone away. A bad day now
might mean that I take one or two pills before bedtime. Just get the 6 year old on the products, and things
will improve. I'm not a doctor, but my personal opinion is that Asthma is simply really bad allergies, and not
a disease by itself. Most doctors don't agree, but they have to stay in business by treating diseases, and
prescribing medicines. Aloe Vera might be a help also, as that also will build up the immune system.

     I recently attended a letter carrier convention in the mountains of New Hampshire, in North Conway.
Each and every year my allergies are triggered at this convention. I end up at the local pharmacy with over
the counter stuff and in the past few years I have brought medication from my doctor with me. In the past I
have used Prednesone, Med Packs, and Claritin. The results are mixed but my allergies are so severe that
many times I have gone to the hospital.
     This year I forgot any medicine. When I got on the golf course my game was not the only thing acting
up. My allergies were acting up and I was starting to sneeze, eyes watering, hard breathing and so on. My
wife came up later in the day and checked in. She had her bottle of OPC#3 with her and I was desperate. I
know I am a distributor and I use many of the products, but I had never used the OPC#3 before.
    I went ahead and took a double dose about 3 that afternoon and again a double dose before I went to bed.
The next morning I took another double dose and headed for the golf course. By noon time all my symptoms
had cleared up. It was unbelievable! I have been using OPC#3 , 2 to 4 doses a day all summer and I have
had little or no symptoms. My medicine is in the waste basket.
     One final note.....I missed 3 or 4 days of OPC#3 in July when I was on vacation. My allergies came back.
In a day or two of going back to the OPC#3, I was cleared up again. It is unreal. Now if I can just get over

the same think Allergies/Asthma, it really has not helped, he also takes B-12, as he has a Sensory

hear from a distr. at The Regional last weekend of her 7 year old son who has Asthma is now off his med's as

Hi!, I have an 8yr old daughter who also suffers from allergies and on a seasonal basis allergy driven asthma.
She has suffered from allergies since the age of 3. We were constantly taking her to the Drs. office for
antibiotics for the what seemed like eternal sinus infections. She was taking Claritin which helped, we were
only perscribed antibiotics 2-3 times every 2 months (3X10 days=30 days) I started her on 1 cap of OPC#3.
Her allergies improved. After checking with the Doctor I increased to 2 caps and 1 cap of Vit. C. She no
longer gets sinus infections. She does not catch everything going around AND she has been off the claritin
for over a year and a half. I once took her off the OPC#3 2 weeks prior to being tested and within
8 days she got a sinus infection. After testing, it took 4 days to clear up the infection with OPC#3 & Vit. C. I
should have gone back to the hospital and shown all the Drs. and staff. She has not had any sinus infections

In July of 1998, my daughter and I were scheduled to begin allergy shots. We had been through the regimens

When I first heard about OPC#3, I was skeptical. I was familiar with the benefits of grape seed and red wine
extracts, but didn't think it could do anything for my allergy symptoms. I suffer from severe ear pain due to

My guess is that the OPC#3 isn't going to take out that cough on its own, but it will probably help her avoid
getting one in the future, at least not as often.

It will very likely eliminate or substantially reduce her allergy problems if she takes enough of it. She may
need 4 caps a day for a couple of weeks and then be able to taper down to 2 caps a day thereafter,
depending at least partly on her size and on how severe her problem is.

I had severe allergy problems and asthma for many years, along with chronic sinusitis, recurrent bronchitis,
etc. After using 2 caps per day of OPC#3 for a couple of weeks my problems disappeared. I've been using
the OPC#3 for four months and have been free of any problems, except that a few days ago my allergies
flared up just a little - so I upped my OPC#3 to 3 caps and all became well (that same day).

I have a few customers now using OPC#3 in part for allergies. All have found relief. One lady with terrible
chronic sinus headaches was blessed with an immediate end to them right after starting the OPC#3. All she
needed was the regular 2 caps per day for 7 days and just 1 cap per day thereafter. It has been a month
for her now with nary a headache (and she used to get them almost every day).

Not everyone is likely to be helped by the OPC#3 alone. It depends upon what is causing the allergies.
Some people have structural abnormalities in their sinuses such as the fairly common deviated septum.
Those people can benefit greatly by a simple surgical procedure (I had it about 2 years ago). Once that
has been taken care of, the OPC#3 will likely do the rest of the job. Your client should be evaluated by a
qualified ENT doc to see if she has that problem.

Based on our experience with allergies and people using OPC#3, we would suggest her increasing her dosage
to 5-6 caps per day of the OPC#3, which would be her loading dose for the first 3-4 weeks and then she can
lower her dose to a maintenance dose. Also let her know that it may take 30 to 90 days to see results. I hope

I had sinus problems all of my life until I was introduced to OPC#3 and Aloe. It was better in So.
California, but every time I would go back east I would come home with a sinus infection requiring anti-
biotics. Not any more. I was there foi r 3 weeks over Xmas and New Years with snow, rain and ice, but
the worst that happened was a little sniffle. I doubled up on the OPC#3 and that took care of it. two of the
weks was spent in my daughters home and they keep their house very cool. I am sure it is healthier, but as

Another problem for me has been migraine headaches, which were more frequent in the winter. I have not

Hi! Just had to respond to this one. One of the most amazing results I have personally experienced since
taking OPC#3 is the reduction, pretty darn close to elimination, of my sinus problems.
I also had suffered from year around allergies and adult onset asthma for the last 15 years. Lived on
Seldane until they took it off the market, then Allegra, plus inhalers for the asthma. I've now been taking
OPC#3 along with B12 and Vit C for close to 2 years. During the first year I noticed that with
every month that went by I had less and less trouble. First I stopped taking the Allegra. I then gradually
weaned myself off of all the inhalers. I now take nothing but my Isotonics and have had virtually no
problems. I am 48 years old, female, about 125 lbs. I take 2 capfuls of OPC#3, 1 cap B12 and 1 cap Vit C
daily during the spring and fall/early winter when my allergies use to flair up the most. During the other

A 35 yr old F -- I too had such chronic sinus problems I was on everything the Drs. and I could
