Description
Irritable Bowel Syndrome is a common condition characterized by Intestinal Cramps (abdominal pain) with Constipation and/or Diarrhea continuing for years without any other general deterioration in health. IBS is not a detectable structural disease but the symptoms are caused by abnormal muscular contractions in the Colon. Irritable Bowel Syndrome is sometimes regarded as a form of Colitis, although its symptoms do not include Inflammation of the Colon.
This is often a term given to patients after exhaustive examinations and
tests prove negative. The term itself does not mean anything other than
a non specific bowel pain. However in saying this, it is often a food
related condition if all else proves negative. If irritable bowel also
coincides with several or most of the following symptoms of
bloating, abdominal cramping, tiredness, irritability, poor memory, tinitis,
tinea, headaches, blurred vision, white tongue, thrush, PMS, vague,
foggy head, failing concentration, spaced out, multiple and developing
allergies then a chronic Yeast overgrowth may be responsible (ie
Candida) for the problem. To see whether you have the symptoms of
an established candida infection please click onto the candida
self test link and fill out the questionnaire.
