Description
Irritable bowel syndrome seems to be the name given to a non descript, clinically undetectable bowel phenomenon which may include diarrhea, constipation (commonly alternating between these two extremes), bowel cramps, excess wind and fermentation etc. If there are no other clinically defined conditions such as crohns, colitis, celiac, diverticulitis, spastic bowel, narrowing bowel, obstruction, cancer etc , then your symptoms may be associated with a fungal over growth such as a common candida overload. Symptoms of this may and often include abdominal bloating, tummy aches / belly aches, diarrhea, constipation, PMT / PMS, reflux, gas / wind, bad breath, tiredness, fatigue, CFS, ADHD (in children), headaches, migraines, muscular stiffness, and in some people may manifest itself as an external fungal infection such as tinea, jock rash, thrush, versicolor, white coated tongue etc. If this is the case then click here to visit the candida page.
This condition is nearly always dietary related, meaning that in an established case, without undertaking a correct dietary protocol your chance of long term improvement may be compromised considerably, even if you do take supplements or medication for it.
An exception to this may be parasite overload and these are common in people returning from Asia and the Sub- Continent.
